An account of the resource
Scrapbook of photos and memorabilia including play programs, Theta Phi and other fraternity and sorority materials, musical recital programs, oratory programs, dance cards, and calling cards from the University of Montana between 1904 and 1907.
Cora Averill of Townsend, Montana, attended the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana, as an undergraduate from 1904 to 1907. She was a member of Penetralia, Clarkia, and the Oratorical Association. She was one of the first members of Theta Phi, which later joined the national sorority Kappa Alpha Theta. Her sister, Florence Averill, attended the University as well. Cora Averill married N.S. Poole.
The Cora Averill scrapbook contains photos and memorabilia including play programs, Theta Phi and other fraternity and sorority materials, musical recital programs, oratory programs, dance cards, and calling cards. It also contains announcements for various university events.
