This an early draft of "For All the Sad Rain" titled "Whose World." The title would later change to "Best Bed" before finally changing to its published title. The poem would undergo many changes before its publication in The Slackwater Review in 1983 and in Goedicke's seventh book of poems The Wind of Our Going in 1985.
