B.M. Bower

Bertha Muzzy was born in 1871 in a log cabin in Cleveland, Minnesota.  In 1890, after the Muzzy family moved to Big Sandy, Montana, she married her first husband, Clayton Jay Bower.  Although the marriage did not last, it did produce three children and the name that the author used professionally through two more marriages, B.M. Bower.
