In Montana, Helen Fitzgerald Sanders is best remembered for her exhaustively researched three volume work titled A History of Montana, published in 1913. Her other books include the novels, The White Quiver, about the Piegan or Blackfoot Indians, and The Dream Maker, with settings from Mississippi to San Francisco.
