The Delta Chi Chapter of the Alpha Tau Omega National Fraternity at the University of Montana-Missoula was installed on March 3, 1923. The fraternity was founded by men who first established the local campus organization the Karnack Club. The Karnack Club was founded October 15, 1921. Alpha Tau Omega closed in 1939 due to WWII. The house reopened in 1945. Alpha Tau Omega closed in 2002.
