Phi Sigma Kappa • ΦΣΚ • Mu Deuteron Chapter • 1923-1972

The Mu Deuteron Chapter of the Phi Sigma Kappa National Fraternity at the University of Montana-Missoula was granted a charter on April 26, 1923. The fraternity was founded by men who first established the local fraternity Iota Nu. Iota Nu was an outgrowth of the local fraternity House of Jericho and was originally called Inter Nos. Inter Nos was founded in 1904. Phi Sigma Kappa was closed in 1943 due to WWII, as the vast majority of men were enlisted. The house reopened in 1945. Phi Sigma Kappa closed in 1972.
