Kappa Sigma • ΚΣ • Delta Omicron Chapter • 1927-Today
The Delta Omicron Chapter of the Kappa Sigma National Fraternity at the University of Montana-Missoula was granted a charter on May 12, 1927. The fraternity was founded by men who first established the local fraternity Alpha Delta Alpha. Alpha Delta Alpha was established on January 22, 1916 as an outgrowth of the Authentic Society. The Authentic Society was a philosophical club organized on campus in 1913. Kappa Sigma was closed from 1933-1953. The chapter was re-chartered at the University of Montana-Missoula in 2007.
