Sigma Chi • ΣΧ • Beta Delta Chapter • 1906-Today

The Beta Delta Chapter of the Sigma Chi National Fraternity at the University of Montana-Missoula was granted a charter on September 10, 1906. The house was founded by men who first established the local fraternity Eta Phi Mu. Eta Phi Mu was an outgrowth of the House of Jericho. Eta Phi Mu was founded January 15, 1904. Sigma Chi closed in 1943 due to WWII, as the vast majority of men were enlisted. The house reopened in 1944. To learn more about Sigma Chi check out the Beta Delta Scrapbook and the Fred E.
